Sea Song I wanna swim with, the creatures of the sea, down in the ocean, with the water over me, I wanna dive down, to the bottom of the sea, diggin’ the whale songs, and the sand around my feet. oooh, ooh, ooh... oooh, ooh, ooh... there’s salt in my bloodline, and the water that I breathe, I am creation, I am living, I am free, holy Mother, at the bottom of the sea, helplessly drifting, to the rhythm of Her heartbeat. oooh, ooh, ooh... oooh, ooh, ooh... Om Bhur Bhuvah Svaha Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat oooh, ooh, ooh... oooh, ooh, ooh... let the Sun warm the waters below, and the moon have Her say, and Her pull, as above, as above, so below, I Love Her so, I Love Her so….. Gayatri Mantra Translation: Om: Para Brahman Bhur: The Physical plane Bhuvah: The Astral plane Svaha: The Celestial plane Tat: Ultimate Reality Savitur: The Source of All Varenyam: Fit to be worshiped Bhargo: The Spiritual effulgence Devasya: Divine Reality Dhimahi: We meditate Dhiyo: Intellect Yo: Which Nah: Our Prachodayat: Enlighten General Translation We meditate upon the spiritual effulgence of that adorable supreme divine reality Who is the source of the physical, the astral and the heavenly spheres of existence. May that supreme divine being enlighten our intellect, so that we may realise the supreme truth This mantra is known to impart wisdom, understanding, and enlightenment "The Gayatri Mantra is said to be the oldest and most powerful of mantras, being thousands of years old. It purifies the person chanting it as well as the listener as it creates a tangible sense of well being in whoever comes across it. Translated, it means "May all beings on earth reach enlightenment," but as with all mantras, the meaning of the Sanskrit words isn't as important as the effect the vibrations of the words have on the body and energy centers" - Deva Premal

Let It Be (Paul McCartney) when I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. and in my hour of darkness, she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it be. when all the broken hearted people, living in the world agree, there will be an answer, let it be. for though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer, let it be. let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, there will be an answer, let it be. (2x) let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it be. (2x) I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. and though the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be. let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it be (2x) let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, there will be an answer, let it be (2x)

My Beloved Why not see the full moon in my eyes? Why not see the full moon in my eyes? Why not see, what you’ve been longing to see? Why not hear, what you’ve been dying to hear? My dear, My Beloved, My Beloved, My Beloved I am like the full moon on the rise, I am like the full moon on the rise, Whisper words that only we can hear, An ancient love song that’s ringing in my ears, My dear, my Beloved, my Beloved, my Beloved Silently whisper these words, Pulling us closer to loving, Loving you, loving me, loving in eternity, My dear, my Beloved, my Beloved, my Beloved So why not keep the full moon in your eyes? Why not keep the full moon in your eyes? Why not be what I’ve been longing to be? Why not sing what I’ve been dying to hear? My dear, my Beloved, my Beloved, my Beloved, My Beloved, my Beloved.....

about

Riotous Singing! is a collection of songs that combine songwriting and chant. Lana Maree's soulful and beautiful voice leads us through songs that weave chants such as Ong So Hung, the Gayatri Mantra and Sat Nam into melodies and verses and encourages us to sing along evoking peace and blissfulness. Other songs facilitate powerful connections such as "Wrapped In The Arms of My Mother" and "Guru Ram Das" and the John Lennon song "Let It Be". "My Beloved" is inspired by the Hafiz poem "With That Full Moon Language".
